Eight young singers from Austria have teamed up to bring a new sound onto the world vocal scene. Recently awarded as World Choir Champion in Latvia the ensemble is well known to audiences in Salzburg – the city of Mozart. They have toured in Canada, South Africa, the Baltic Countries, Finland, Germany, Italy and impressed their audiences with their masterly mix of vocal timbres, and look forward to sharing their fresh sounds with Australia in August. Repertoire ranges from music of the early Renaissance right up to crispy pop arrangements.

Moritz Guttmann is a musician, teacher, choir conductor and university lecturer in Salzburg/Austria.

He directs several youth choirs and vocal ensembles. 2010 he was awarded with the Erwin-Ortner-Award for choral conducting. He is also juror and speaker at choir festivals and choral competitions.
